Who's behind it
Our story
SmokyVows was built by a team of Smoky Mountain locals who saw how much the wedding vendor community here was underserved by national directories that treated Gatlinburg like Cleveland.
The national platforms charge $200–$400 a month, sort their results by who paid the most, and treat regional knowledge as an afterthought. That works for venues in Los Angeles. It does not work for a solo photographer in Pigeon Forge or a chapel in Sevierville.
SmokyVows started as a regional directory for the Smokies — Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, GSMNP, Townsend — and is expanding to Nashville, Asheville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville with the same principles. Flat monthly subscriptions. Merit-based ranking. Local context built in.
